This University would, in a very short time, become the guiding light of AYUSH education in Punjab. In this university, the emphasis would be on quality education. The best research facilities in the field of AYUSH would be created here. This University is one of its own kinds in North India. At present 16 Ayurvedic colleges (including one Govt. Ayurvedic college), 4 Homoeopathic colleges and 1 Unani College are affiliated with this university.
